Monday Evening Zen Meditation and Ceremony Practice

Monday Evening Public Program at Lincoln Square Zendo and in our online Zendo via ZOOM.
After zazen and service, tonight we will practice the GATE OF SWEET DEW (see ADZG Chant Book) in preparation for our Segaki – ceremony to nourish hungry ghosts and restless spirits – on Sunday 10/27/24. If you have curiosity about the ceremony, this is an opportunity to informally experience practice with chanting and bells, please join us after zazen!
6:45 pm: Arrivals – Doors open
7:00 pm: Han begins calling the sangha to meditation
7:15 pm: Zazen (sitting meditation)
7:45 pm: Service
7:55 pm: Practice Conversation
(discussion ends 8:30pm, 4 vows, announcements)
